Age: 50

Teaching Experience: 2-4 years

Contract Type: Unemployed due to no jobs

Decided to change career in 40s to fulfil a lifelong ambition to teach. Since graduation I have worked consistently full-time  in fixed term contracts moving schools each year, working extremely hard demonstrating great integrity and passion for teaching.

I was one day short of permanency and made redundant from Angus Council.I am claiming Jobseekers allowance and  am now working part-time as an SPSA.I still haven’t paid off the student loan I took to complete PGDE.I can’t afford to live.
