We understand the challenges faced by teachers working on zero-hour supply, temporary or fixed-term contracts and believe that every teacher deserves the security of permanent employment.

As a result of the current climate teachers in their masses are now being forced into claiming Universal Credit due to the lack of stable opportunities. Through promoting fair and sustainable employment practices and education reform, we are advocating for a more stable teaching workforce, ultimately improving the quality of education for Scotland’s students.
