Teaching Experience: 2-4 years

Contract Type: Unemployed due to no jobs

I did NQT 20-21, gained a fixed term 21-22,  LA agreed to fund my masters which I have completed, BUT I’ve been unemployed since my fixed term ended due to my council having a mass backlog of individuals who gained permanency through service.


So every contract was offered to these people first (understandably).


However, there were over 100 people due positions and only 40 spaces, so we are now in a situation we are all having to wait until this mess is filtered through.


I cannot secure work, I have two children and a mortgage. I’ve had to take on a beauty role!!!! And am now reapplying to university to be a nurse. Waste of money and time for everyone.
